Are they planning to ban Church steeples or Synagogues next? It'd be only fair after all.

Nope...church steeples are part of Swiss heritage, and there aren't any steeples or minarets on synagogues. The people have spoken, something the left tends to dislike.

 Holy Jebus, Shep, just stop already. Had the Swiss voted to keep them, the right would have been screaming about European pussies!

Well at least Switzerland has Mosques. It would be equitable if the religion of peace repaid the compliment in Saudi Arabia, a land where churches and synagogues are prohibited.

And you would deny that the Left has a smugly paternalistic attitude, that only they have the correct answers to everything?

Nope, don't deny anything. Do you deny the right has an angry reactionary attitude and that they have the correct answers to everything?

No. I don't believe anyone has the answers to everything.

Challenging the Liberals and the left isn't being an 'angry reactionary'. It's just a different viewpoint to the left-wing mantra. Having diverse opinions and debate on issues is what our democracy is all about. Liberals will just have to get used to not calling the shots anymore. The pendulum is swinging in another direction.

    Okay.

Challenging is one thing, postulating predictable, hypothetical, partisan reactions is another.

They make an excrusiating noise 5 times a day, so I don't blame them.
Catholic churches only make noise once a week on Sunday morning, and in Tilburg, the Netherlands, there has a church been told to shut up at 7 am on a Sunday morning. No church bells ringing anymore there.

    Sort of.

Its only the minorets, not the mosques themselves.

But it is something at least.
