As the Olympic Torch makes its way to Vancouver for the start of next year's games, there will be more torch relay ceremonies held in Conservative ridings than in the ridings of opposition members.

The Liberals are looking more and more desperate with stupid issues like this.

"It is absolutely shameful to politicize and to make partisan something such as (the) Olympics," Liberal MP Ujjal Dosanjh told CTV.

And the Dosan and the other Bliberals bitching and moaning about it being "politicized", just helped to politicize it even more. Great job morons. It's a fucking torch, not a make work program fer cryin' out loud.

When were the torys ever fair? If you are not a party faithful and you don't dance to harper's tune then you just don't make the grade.

Find me ANY party, especially one in power, that is 100% fair and I'll find you a Leprechaun and mail him to you, including the pot of gold. :D

When the Liberals were in power they tried to claim all sorts of gov't programs as their own, from payments to the transcanada hiway. I'm not gooing to bother to go looking but I have little doubt they did similar stuff regarding the olypics.

They are longest running minority government in the history of Canada. I'd say that suggests that the Tories are the most fair.

Sorry? I wasn't directing my comment at you, rather at the story itself.
For the record I have neither a Tory nor Liberal philosophy at the moment, both have lowered themselves too far in my eyes.

The tories have the closest 'ASL philosophy'

thats why I voted for them.

If the Liberals want to change their philosophy, or maybe just do a better job at delivering what they promise, then maybe I'll vote for them.

    This is just so pathetic.
Did Hedy Fry take over the Libs war room?
I understand they want to keep active in the face of the media but this just makes them sound like a bunch of babies.
