I think these Europeans need to take a good look in the mirror and realise who created the fur trade in the first place.

I quickly looked at the picture and thought that old horsey-face had terrible dress sense. It looks like some frumpy old cat lady stumbles into the picture.

Choban is right though. These Euro-wimps need to remember that they were the market for these products.

It matters because they created a market that was lucrative and booming and then all change thier minds because they all of a sudden they develop a consience about how it is carried out.
It matters because the majority of fur trappers and seal hunters are Natives that have hunting rights and need the markets.
It matters most because no one has come up with a viable alternative for these people to continue to make a living, and it matters because they bow down to the demands of a few well meaning people with no consideration for the lifestyles they eliminate while doing it.
It truthfullly matters because in their secret hearts all European women relly want a fur coat and all eruopean men really want a fur hat. (that last was a joke)
