"I don't think it's funny," Hudson told Foxnews.com. "Why is it that people are allowed to publicly show that level of disrespect for Christian symbols? If the same thing was done to a symbol of any other religions -- Jewish or Muslim -- there'd be a huge outcry. It's simply not a level playing field."

    Right.

It's not fair that Christians aren't allowed to rave like lunatics and threaten beheadings.

    Give your head a shake.

It's not fair that the media is too cowardly to hold raving Muslim fanatics to account.

I think it's highlighting more of the fact insulting and degrading Christian religious symbols commonly gets a pass, or acceptance by media sources, while graffiti a Jewish cemetery will receive a great deal more attention (and rightly does it deserve attention) and, also, that if some comedy sketch had something similar about Judaism, there would be outrage.

And don't start with Islam. They got pissed off at some pretty tame sketches and killed 150 people for it.

Gets a pass or doesn't warrent a fanatical reaction? I'll go with the latter.

I don't recall anyone dying because of "piss jesus" but there were deaths because of a simple cartoon:

Brilliant. What is the point of your latest whine-fest? Christians not freaking out about peeing on Christ or Muslims losing their shit over pictures of Mohamad?

Either there is freedom of opinion on religions or their is not. The fact that the media holds one religion in contempt but is frightened into silence over another is wrong and cowardly. A cowardice that the media dosen't show when their trampling on Christian values.

    Run for parliament, then.

Seeing you whine on forums gets tedious after a while.

Not nearly as tedious as your typical one trick pony rants.

I gotta agree with RR but in a slightly different slant. When some racial or religious group in Canada gets all worked up about something going on in THEIR home country and starts demonstrating, why the hell exactly are we televising it? Oooo a bunch of pissed off muslims jumping and yelling and burning flags. Show me something I haven't seen about a billion times on the TV news already.
If they're that pissed off about it, maybe they should go back and DO something about it. This goes for ANY racial or religious group.
The media just need to quit feeding the flames.
