Questions raised as media get Olympic torchbearer positions

Some former torchbearers and parents are questioning why on-air staff from CTV, Canada's official Olympic broadcaster, should take precedence over athletes and volunteers when it comes to carrying the Olympic torch across the country.

Well.... are these broadcasters not Canadian as well.... Some people bitch just to hear themselves bitch 27 spots out of 12,000 is nothing... get a life people.

Give them a spot anywhere between Middleofnowhere Man. and WTFisNatook, AB. and we�ll see how badly they want to be a part of this.
