Prime Minister Stephen Harper received a standing ovation after he surprised guests at a National Arts Centre Gala in Ottawa on Saturday night by playing the piano and singing a light-hearted Beatles tune.
I think everyone starts laughing at the shock of not expecting a fairly good voice, then they catch on to the song and laugh some more. I know I did. almost.
"Bodah" said You should see the comments on the cbc section there going batshit crazy, apparently Harper isnt allowed to be a little artistic.
Hitler was artistic, wasn't he? Charlie Manson too. But this is very good for Harper. This sort of thing will go along way in changing his "stuffed shirt" image. I wonder if Iggy has any musical talent. I'm not sure why, but I estimate Iggy's musical talents about on par with William Shatner's.

Anyone want to bet the opposition/media will have a problem with this ?
"I get by with a little help from my friends, I get high with a little help from my friends "
Is priceless.
Not to mention he nailed the song.
Still don't like him though.
Harper sings Beatles tunes and Iggy deals with Coderre's stab in the back.
Funny.
