When most people think of what it's like to be blind, what usually comes to mind is all the things a person can't do. Say, riding a bike.

Very very good, we talk a lot here about the nuts in this world, but it real uplifting to read stories like this. While we need to discuss some of the bad things, let also talk about the good things that go on, like this.

I have a deaf-mute aunt (my grandma got Rubella when she was pregnant, so make sure you get your shots!!) and a deaf-mute-blind uncle. The lifes they lived together (or more the way they lived them) is fantastic.

The fact this guy has a job with the police is more incredible to me than the fact he biked. That happens all the time. Or more, I have seen it done often. (Tandem bikes are pretty normal in Holland, and having a blind partner or child is one of the reasons)
