A victory by the right-wing Wildrose Alliance party in a key byelection in Calgary on Monday was driven by concerns about the recession and a desire for the Progressive Conservatives to do more about the Alberta economy, Premier Ed Stelmach said Tuesday.
That's right Ed, deflect the blame. Never mind that your parties mismanagement took us from a surplus to a deficit. Never mind that money was put asside for these hard times but you spent it. Never mind that you took Klien's legacy and threw it out the window.
The one where we didn't save any of our royalties?
Or laid off thousands of employees in health care (and paid giant ass severance packages) only to have to increase their pay massively when it was realized what a huge mistake it was?
Or perhaps it was the massive infrastructure deficit that he allowed to build up while in office?
Stelmach hasn't been any better than Klein, but he hasn't been worse either. Just same-old, same-old.

Time for new leadership in this province...
Sorry, just meaning that when Klien was in things were better, at least Klein didn't lie about it. He got elected under the pretense that he was going to cut here he wanted and spend where he wanted. Stelmach just says nothing, or deflects blame
