Pte. Patrick Lormand, 21, was killed and four others were injured in a roadside blast from an improvised explosive device, the military said.

    Threads like this are happening too often. I wish we would just get the hell outa there so we don't have to keep passing our condolences on to the families of these victims of "war". I respect that they are doing their "duty" as Canadian soldiers but this is getting ridiculous. It seems to me nothing has changed there except the death stats.

    May all those who have lost thier lives in this seemingly endless battle rest in peace and may all those still there return on their own feet.
