The President of the Chinese Supreme Court, Wang Shengjun, recently stated that the overall interests of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and government override the law.

NAhhhh no kidding! This is news? Someone living ina hole somewhere actually thought there was judicial independance and democracy in China?

His remark has drawn heated criticism. Many contend that this is a violation of the judicial spirit.

And what is this "spirit?" >>>>

The overall interest of the CCP and the government implies that the judge must solve judicial cases according to political interests. Its simply an expression of the politicization of the judiciary.

Ahh, yes, they are certainly on the road to freedom from state repression!

Give this story a few months to die down and Mr. Shengiun will dissapear, poof!
