Just gotta love the bleeding heart system we have in this country.
Foreigners commit serious crimes and then are allowed to continue to stay, and in this case as in far too many others, continue to commit crimes.
And if his crimes were serious enough to recommend deportation, what the fuck was he doing out of prison in the first place?

Yet this current federal government wants to have a 14 year sentence attached to growing a couple of pot plants.
The irony is sickening to say the least.

Still waiting to see proof of someone caught in the last 2 years go to jail for growing their own pot. You and your giggling dope fiends can eat chipps, giggle and make up all the lies you want but that dosen't make them true.

Yeah, and I was making a comparison cuz I'm still waiting for this jackoff to be deported. Yer point is???

Read Bill C-15 and see the lies you speak of  There's even mention of the charges the feds wish to implement with this bill in one of the links in the synthetic drugs thread.

Here's the quote. I even saved you the effort of continuing to look foolish trying to call me a liar. But hey, I know what colour the sky is in MY world, how 'bout you?

"If passed into law, Bill C-15 would, among its other provisions, throw people caught with one marijuana plant into the slammer for a minimum of six months. If growing a single plant is done on a property that belongs to another person or in an area where it may present a hazard to children, minimum jail time is nine months.

Worse, the bill seeks to increase the maximum penalty for this particular offence to 14 years"

Don't want to go in jail ? Don't grow pot for trafficking... That's quite simple and easy to do.

Growing pot and trafficking are two entirely different things. 1-5 plants could hardly be considered intent to traffic

But hey, I'll just make sure I kill somebody before I get busted so I can run free and commit more crimes.

trafficking, the critical word you omit is trafficing. That means if you grow pot to sell you will go to jail. Please quote the bill. Quoting the Georgia Straight just makes you sound foolish.

    Sorry Martin.

    Sorry Martin.

So what if you grow pot and just keep if for personal use.

    a) How do you tell the difference?

    b) Can you trade it, rent it, lease it, exchange it for food, sex, travel coupons or goldfish?

    c) What if you grow it for personal use and someone steals it, can you get insurance.

I know I'm off topic but for some reason I'm thinking that jail for having a pot plant seems harsh. I don't smoke pot but my pot smoking buddies are alot more productive than my buddies who drink.
