A Surrey, B.C., woman says she now has "a beard" after undergoing a series of laser hair-removal procedures, and is seeking damages from the companies that treated her.

    If she had no hair before, why would she want a laser treatment in the face? Obviously, she had a beard before and just wants more money.

    This happens to 1-2% of people who get the treatment. It's one of the risks involved in the Procedure.

    It's also what happens when some diploma mill graduate is selling a procedure that should be regulated as a medical procedure.
