EDMONTON -- More than 30 years after it was created, Alberta's multibillion-dollar Heritage Savings Trust Fund has become a stagnant pool of money that has failed to achieve one of its primary goals -- diversifying the province's boom-bust economy.

I read an article in the March Report on Business that noted if they had maintained Lougheed's policies when the Fund first started, it would be worth more about $165 Billion...

Albertans really needs some type of alternative to vote for during the next election. The Tory's have just gone stupid on us, how any government can piss away the advantages we have been given is beyond me.

I read in a book once, that said pumpkins could change into golden carriages. So the first time I had my own garden I grew nothing but pumpkins, thinking I was going to be rich. Not one friggin Carriage out of the whole garden.
