Not all that surprising...everyone's sared of buying a piece of junk from the two bankrupt NA car companies.

Ford sales are increasing and Toyota's, Honda's, GM's, etc are sliding...

Ford has played a fantastic PR job through this whole debacle. All the power to them. Confidence breeds confidence.

Does that mean they sold five vehicles instead of four?

    And Acura is up too!

I'm not scared, but I am pissed off. Why would I buy a Government Motors Product when Ford is right across the street, turning out great vehicles, and not using a dime of my hard earned tax dollars?

I didn't vote for a bailout, so from now on I'm voting with my wallet.

It appears it's Ford's strong truck sales that are helping them as their car sales are down a bit...

Perhaps truck buyers are staying away from GM & Chrysler... Also maybe the recent Toyota truck rust problems are scaring over Tacoma & Tundra buyers to the blue oval...

    Here we go again......

Your hatred for Toyota and some anecdotal reports on web sites do not a case make. Try and stay on topic this time.

How is he not on topic with that post? For once his drivel actualy fits into the topic at hand, and is a realistic possibility.

I know what car I've already got my eyes on when I get back from tour next year, the new Ford Fiesta:

I'll put m money in a company that actually has good buisness sense.

I bought an F-150 last month. Glad I could help out!

Good for Ford - if only Chrysler and GM can get their acts together. With the Fusion and Edge, and Mustang and F - Series, and the Euro Fiesta, Ford had put together a decent line-up and guess what, NO BAIL OUT!!!

The management at Ford needs to get down on their hands and knees and kiss the feet of the F series truck folks. The F-150 alone has probably saved them.

Toyota V8s are known gas guzzlers, too.

We own an f-150, an old gmc 2500 and a Malibu MAXX. The 2500 is already up for sale, and when we're done with the malibu, I'm thinking the new taurus is looking good.

I need some bumper stickers, something along the lines of "Enjoy your chevy, I helped pay for it" or "say no to Government Motor Products..." I dunno, that's all I can come up with right now...

Better management saved them, they had a bunch of assets they could mortgage instead of asking for handouts...
