Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke let it be known that the Leafs will not be in on the Dany Heatley sweepstakes, and he pulled no punches along the way.

Did he learn something when he picked up Pronger? But then again Pronger was 1 year in on a 5 year deal, so that's what makes this time around different I guess. Or is it just that he works for a team that's rebuilding and doesn't really have any players for trade bait.
