That's what we need. More ways to make people. The world is running out of them I hear.

God I hope this doesn't happen.
Has anyone evcer studied the effects of raising children in a same sex partnership?
My wife is a special ed assistant, she got a new kid this year in grade 7, this boy was raised by 2 lesbians and she tells me he has some real issues. There have to be limits.

Alberta has an adoption website that profiles several children that need parents, you can tell from the descriptions that they are all special needs children. It takes a special kind of angel to take one of these children and raise them with love and care.

Out of curiosity what are the boy's issues? You don't have to say if there is some sort of confidentiality requirement you're worried about, I'm just wondering what sort of issues can arise from that situation.

Problems with athority (especially female), He doesn't bond well with other kids, Acts out in class for no reason (he's not a.d.d or suffering from any disabilities, seems to be purly a social thing), constant bullying of others and lashing out, Thats all I'm aware of. Like I asked I was wondering if any studies have been done
These 2 ladies have raised him since he was a year old.

Who was raising him before that? Is he adopted, is his father known, is his mother known, was he abused, maybe it is just a half rotten child...

From what I know his parents never married and split up when he was 1, his father sees him on a regular basis but doesn't "raise" him per say (weekend visits I assume)
I don't believe he was abused in any way,(I'm not sure if my wife's case history on him would mention it if he was) the father sued for custody but he was given to the mother. Just a case of their relationship didn't work out and they split (possably because she was a lesbian)

Listen folks, I'm not condoning or condeming here, I'm an open person, just wondering if anyone has studied the phsycological effects of raising a child in a same sex relationship, given that it's only recently that our society is starting to accept the idea of open homsexuality

Fair enough, but bringing up this boys case indicates bias...
