A man stole an ambulance from Edmonton paramedics, threw on an EMS jacket and led police on a marathon chase across western Alberta on Sunday evening

    Wow, I heard it was hard to get a taxi in Edmonton but I didn't realize it was that bad!

    Police laid down numerous spikebelts, but the man manoeuvred the ambulance around them.


    Kudos to the guy for being able to manoeuvre a brick on wheels around like that, he's still a dick though for stealing an ambulance. :x

    I don't blame the Edmonton city cops for abandoning the pursuit, given the bad reputation that ambulance chasers can get. 8O

    That and the temptation to swear at a degenerate motherfucker that would stoop to steal an ambulance on a call...better to let him go then to break the new swearing policy. :roll:

    One call on a cb radio would have had him boxed in by semis within a few minutes if he was on that road,a rolling roadblock if you will.

    Theres major truck traffic on that road and im sure the truckers would have been more then glad to help.
