    Is this 2009 or 1909? Un-fucking-acceptable

it'll look like a lawyer's convention. Just think, the next time you have a batch of steamed mussels, what they've been feeding on. 8O

I honestly don't know why they don't just put everything else on hold and focus on fixing this until it's straightened out... every time this sort of thing happens it's just more bad imagery of Halifax.

I love being Nova Scotian and living on the hopefully pristine St. Margaret's Bay 34km from Downtown Halifax... but when I'm in town it's a horrible thing to look out at the Narrows and Bedford Basin and imagine what's going on in there...
We need to get this done now

While it came as no surprise to me a power failure initiated the line of events ( must have been salt on the conductors again :? ). While it comes as no surprise to me Peter Kelly is doing dick about it. While it comes as no surprise to me I'm still being charged for an inoperable water treatment plant. Hmmmm I guess nothing about this comes as any surprise to me

Why don't they have generators? What is it, rocket science?

Imagine if the waste pipe of your toilet started leaking all over the bathroom. Would you continue to work on it while you focused on all the other things you have to get done? No! You'd drop everything and do whatever it takes to fix the damned toilet and get it over with! Why? Because shit all over the floor is a hell of a lot worse than the dishes piling up a little, or putting off painting the deck, or not saving up to buy a new lawnmower!

They likely do. I'm not entirely sure how it ended in a catastrophic failure, but if it started with NS power, it likely ended with NS power. Come on now this is a city that just seen the fire destruction of homes enhanced by the debris left from Juan. Rocket scientist's running this city 8O the closest they come to that is when they actually pull their finger out of their arse to actually do something. That's as much lift off as you'll get around here. :?
