Isn't it great! the media has something new to trip over each other with, well trying to be the first to spread the BS.

On Saturday, two new cases were confirmed in Kansas the first U.S. cases outside of California or Texas.

Good to see the US doesn't see California and Texas as US either ROTFL

    It's interesting.

I did some research on the flu:

H1N1 is a subtype of the species Influenza A virus. H1N1 has mutated into various strains including the Spanish Flu strain (now extinct in the wild), mild human flu strains, endemic pig strains, and various strains found in birds. A variant of H1N1 was responsible for the Spanish flu pandemic that killed some 50 million to 100 million people worldwide from 1918 to 1919. A different variant exists in pig populations.

"When he compared the 1918 virus with today's human flu viruses, Dr. Taubenberger noticed that it had alterations in just 25 to 30 of the virus's 4,400 amino acids. Those few changes turned a bird virus into a killer that could spread from person to person

Low pathogenic H1N1 strains still exist in the wild today, causing roughly half of all flu infections in 2006.

Controversy arose in October, 2005, after the H1N1 genome was published in the journal, Science. Many fear that this information could be used for bioterrorism.

The problem is that there was a major cover up with SARS and it got out of control.
Then they spent millions in Ontario screening it.. WHO has been predicting a major pandemic for years now.. It could be a bad situation if it spreads.. Its true the press jump all over this type of news... good hand washing and hygiene practice is a good protection and stay your distance from people who are coughing up a storm..

Ive watched so much news the last month it hurts and it seems like the media is just trying to make their own news now.

Just last night I watched Glenn Beck quote the very same nutty enviromental quote's back in the 70's that I have posted here many times.
Some were from 5 years ago.
    That was ridens youtube video.

Nice to know were a good 5 years ahead of Glenn Beck on these matters.

That's the problem with 24/24 news channels competing. They need to keep you at the screen.

Just for Quebec there is two 24/7 french news channel. Only for our little population. Is there one only for english canada ?

How about that Taliban invasion on Pakistan eh?

CNN was just praying someone would get shot or blown up as where the rest of the networks, the obamamessiah must have calmed down the world a tad if they have to try make up their own news.
