A vehicle tax up to $100 is one of several options TransLink is considering to raise more money to pay for Metro Vancouver's roads, bridges and public transit system.

    I think someones forgotten we are now in a recession. People don't need more taxes, especially right now.

    Of all the taxes to propose too. We are trying to stimulate vehicle buying not restrict it.

    Have any government agency thought about cutting expenses instead of just raising taxes? I'm sure there are plenty of useless bureaucrats in there, like whatever idiot who proposed a vehicle tax
