Shilo, Manitoba � The crack of machine gun fire sounded as infantry soldiers fired the C-9 light machine gun down range to complete their personal weapons test (PWT) in February

    Wait until they fire the C-6 now thats a machine gun. The C-9 is just an automatic C-7.

    I always liked the C9 more for its mobility and accuracy. I find the C6 more of a beast and not as easy to handle because of its different role. If I had a choice I would always go C9.

    The day we pitched the C5 in favour of the C6 was a great day.

    A C6 and it's SF kit is a real killer.

    Carried one for 3 1/2 years.

    I loved that thing. It was long enough to be comfortable doing drill.

    I would pick a C-8 with a M203 on the end as my weapon of choice

    Dont get too excited, when it jams on you will be cursing it, the C6 is where the fun is. After that its the M203, that weapon is more of an instument than a tool, from the skill needed to hit the target from the low 'thunk' when the gernade leaves the barrel.
