Northern Trust flew hundreds of clients and employees to L.A. and put many of them up at some of the fanciest and priciest hotels in the city. We're told more than a hundred people were put up at the Beverly Wilshire in Bev Hills, and another hundred stay

If this has happened during the Middle-Ages of the Renaissance, people would be rioting in the streets right now and calling for the heads of those in charge...

Love the 'who is to blame' poll. Who made the speech with a gun to your head saying we had to bail them out right now or we are all doomed?

    This guy

It's a shame people don't have the same indignation for the elites that screw them over everyday, as they did in those middle ages. I say, power in numbers, let the rich assholes know there not takin any more of our money and were sick of this entire thing they got us into (much much easier said than done)

I wonder how much will be left to be used in the economy of the "stimulus package".

I know i'm cynical but if I was running the Banana Republic of Procule-land: my stimulus plan would be to pay people to hit themselves. That way, everybody would have a job and we would save the economy. Change we can believe in !!!

pretty shameless stuff.. if I remember from frontline, some banks got money
from the Fed, even though they never asked for it, and may not have even needed it.
