A wheelchair-bound paraplegic who was on the lam after skipping a deportation flight to Britain this week was arrested by Canada Border Services agents Wednesday and taken into custody.
He became wheel chair bound due to a work related injury suffered in Canada, yet continued to work. Then he was injured further when he was broadsided by a taxi. He hasn't lived in Britain since he was a child.
We have people arriving in Canada that go onto social assistance the moment they step off the plane from elsewhere, and remain on it. This guy paid taxes, and was a productive member of society until his injury was exacerbated by someone elses negligence.

There is so much missing in the article, UK here, Greece there... my guess is this guys paperwork is a complete disaster.
Guess it would have been politically incorrect to say he was on the "run".
