B.C.'s Criminal Justice Branch is set to announce at a press conference Friday that the actions of the officers, who Tasered the agitated Dziekanski in the early hours of Oct 14, 2007, did not constitute criminal behaviour.
I agree. It would have been so much nicer if they'd merely used their batons to club him like a baby seal. I'm sure that if they'd done that instead none of the dedicated civil liberties death-to-the-pigs types would have complained at all.

OR, they could have i dunno, offered him a fucking phone. Tasers weren't required, neither were batons.
Yeah, no surprise really. I mean if a cop in Nelson can get away with shooting a drunk kid while he was handcuffed (in the back of the head no less), it's no surprise that these jackasses got off.

No doubt.
Welcome to Canada, watch the tazers on arrival. Oh, and don't get caught with an open beer in the parking lot of any hockey arena, they shoot you for that over here.

It's even better when you have to deal with semi-informed citizens pushing a bias around. You're wrong on both those counts; wanna debate it? You bring all your little facts, I'll bring mine and I'll leave you as one crying bitch. Sound like fun?
This whole thing exploded because some civilian jornalist took some video then demnded the police release it back to him so he could sell it to a network. Without that video, I doubt half the people would know or care.
The police acted like goons and I dount they could have cited one acted like a bigger goon than the others. They should at least be repremanded for obviously using excessive force.
I still want to see the director of security, or some of the senior management of YVR fired for this. Their the ones who failed by letting someone wander around in a high security area for hours. Their the ones who failed to conect the polish guy from the plain with the polish mother together.
absolutely sickening.
i feel really sorry for the mother, we have done a very nice
job of fucking her over really good.
Unfuckingbelievable!!! No fucking surprise however.
Agreed not surprised. Fucking joke.
*waits for cop lovers to show up and try to defend this ruling*

If Tazers are so harmless then let the public buy and use them.
Right after pepper spray everyone thinks is so harmless.
Pepper? I put it on my eggs.
Chili flakes.
