NAIROBI, Kenya - The UN, African Union and Arab nations are struggling to deal with a surge of pirate attacks.

    Perhaps the Royal Navy needs to return to its former ways too. They dealt with pirates successfully

    privateers....not pirates. The Crown hanged those who didn't give them their cut or created bad PR, i.e. Captain Kidd

    The pirates back then weren't zipping around in small boats doing 25 knots. The shipping company's are going to have to realize that they are going to have to have trained, heavily armed guards on their vessels with orders to shoot first and not even bother with the questions.
