Everything is bad for the environment now apparnetly, and bad for you, bad for everything.
I couldn't move my finger without harming the envirement. I thought this pro-envirenment change was great. Maybe clean some things up, and fix all the lazyness of the past generations but it's really getting annoying now.

good thing there's no in today's younger generation
No point in getting upset or is there? I mean we only have to live on the earth and so do our children, right? Everyone should spend a couple minutes here http://www.abetterenergyplan.ca and think twice about their energy consumption habits!

Environmentally aware as well! Driving into work the dirtiest area is the high school I drive by. The young people at this school are apparently unaware of the invention called the GARBAGE CAN.

I agree, I can't stand seeing the piles of fast food garbage in parking lots and at roadsides. It's disgusting how little respect some people have for the environment!
Spring in Calgary is usually fairly disgusting after the snowmelt reveals all the food wrappers and coffee cups that the assholes have been throwing on the ground throughout the winter. It never used to be like this so I'm wondering what went wrong that people don't give a damn anymore about all the littering.

I find it almost humourous getting lectured by young people about the environment whenever I pass an "institution of higher learning" and see the amount of litter on the schools grounds.

Took this at Knotts Berry Farm. You cant see but there's about 10-12 garbage cans in this shot. Yet these theme parks are STILL littered.

You go to Western don't you Tricks? If it is a clean campus then things there have changed quite a bit since I was last in London.(it has been a few years)

If I knew where it was, I'd post a picture I took on Canada Day a few years ago, of Parliament Hill. It's pretty disgraceful how much garbage gets left on the lawn and streets of our capital because people are too lazy to take it home with them once the garbage cans overflow. (Maybe provide more garbage cans and regular pickup throughout the day? Even better, produce less stuff to throw on the ground in the first place.)

I can't wait for Canada day in Ottawa again this summer. I also agree that hopefully the city will provide better a more efficient garbage disposal system and it won't be so messy this year!
