B.C.'s Highway 97 could be closed for weeks

If you were to bring the whole mass down at once you would have an even bigger problem. The impact would likely take out the road and then you still have one big f'ing rock where the road used to be. The only way to remove this is piece by piece, drilling and blasting. Hopefully the rock doesn't fall before they can get it done.

I feel for the folks that live on one side of that mess and work on the other. We have three employees here, a lot more than that where my wife works.
