One more step in proving the theory of evolution. The fact that we have never actually "seen" evolution was one of the roadblocks to actually proving it, a point brought up by many creationists as well.

This is a form of micro evolution. This has been observed before, such as birds with longer beaks where there are flowers with deeper bulbs leading to the nectary.

Except evolution (specifically, speciation) has been observed in labs a number of times. If a creationist says something about evolution, you're better off assuming they're either wrong or lying, and actually looking to see what science has to say on the matter.

Evolution is a proven reality, period.
