TSX up close to 400 points

The Toronto stock market was up close to 400 points in late morning trading Tuesday, recovering somewhat from Mondayï¿½s record-setting loss as oil rebounded and investors awaited news on the potential of a compromise U.S. financial-sector bailout plan.
