Wal-Mart Stores Inc. last year ended its U.S. efforts to obtain a bank charter following public outcry, but is looking beyond the border for a more receptive audience.

    No reason Wal-Mart shouldn't do what Loblaws', C.Tire
    and Sears are already doing...they'll likely do it better.
