    so why cant we just shoot down the pirates and their boats? It seemed to work several centuries ago. Less pirates on the sea would mean less pirates to operate at their base.

    Because they dont run up the pirate colours anymore. :roll: You cant just open up on a ship in international waters, you can stop and do random checks but this wont stop all the pirates. Im sure they Canadian ships have more than enough rules to tie their hands.

    Enjoy this while we can everyone.

    With the cancellation of the JSS, missions like this will soon be a thing of the past. Once we no longer have the AORs, we won't be able to deploy our frigates (our destroyers will likely have been decomissioned by then too) to the otehr side of the planet to fight the good fight.
