The United States is planning to take control of all military operations in Afghanistan next year with an Iraq-style troop surge after becoming frustrated at Natos failure to defeat the Taliban.

    I hope you're kidding, MD.

If what you say is true, then why are we still in Iraq?

What did you expect Iraq to be over in three days.

As of late things are very good in Iraq, even Barry Obama has agreed to that.

We have to stop fighting with one hand tied behind our back.

The Pentagon is also pushing for a permanent unified command in the south of the country that would sideline the Dutch and the Canadians.

    How is this to work?

MD you do realize that Iraq is the perfect example of how to complete screw up military operations? I wouldn't go doing the typical american slapping of your own back with the history your military has had in the last 50 years other than make some pretty fucking impressive shit that gets wasted by your troops. The world is getting sick and tired of americans taking credit for everything that is good in human life and distributing the blame everywheres else but themselves when things go wrong. Our troops didn't need "american help" our troops needed about double the number of boots on the ground and just because you are the nation with one of the biggest number of troops in NATO you will be able to provide it so please limit the USA chest pounding it's just comical to us.

    Oh shut the hell up.

If it's so comical, why'd you make such such an angry post? You didn't have to be a whiny bitch and complain.

i dont see what all the fuss is about, canadians need help in kandahar, if our politicians wont send more troops to help them, and no other nato country has the balls to help us....why the fuck wouldnt we accept american help? Think about the shit the troops are going through before you start on the "i hate america and here's why" rant.

Since Germany, France, Italy and all the other cowards won't go to the fighting, we'll have to get help where we can. For all of our losses, the US has still lost a lot more people. I don't have a problem with this.
