This is fucked up. I have traveled in the US all my life, been all over, but shit like this is making me never want to travel in the US again. I always bring my laptop, sure I have a couple downloaded movies and such, i'm not worried about that. But if they did seize it, i'm sure one wouldn't see it for months.

Land of the free my ass. Where does this shit stop.

What happened to all the pages? Did they get deleted? 8O

Anyway, yeah, this is fucked up. I think once the new president, whoever it may be, will fix this up.

The terrorist accomplished their goals when they attacked on 9/11. The US is no longer a free and democratic nation. It is a police state and they rap it up in a very wholesome name...Homeland Security....KGB.....Gestapo....same difference.

I still think there is a chance for redemption of our reputation, our honor, things like that.

I believe that things will change once Obama is elected, if he is (which I'm hoping he is), just all people need to do is hope for change. I think that change will come.

Unless there is some real damn good reason US Agents should have the right to do this. I believe it given the way this country is turning, but what a screwed up situation!

Not that I have much on my laptop that would interest anybody, certainly nothing illegal as with 99% of the rest of the folks, so what I have on it isn't anybody's business.

This whole situation with traveling to Canada is so F up. It used to
be when you crossed the border in either direction a border guard would ask you a few questions and you were on your way. Now (probably thanks to George W(aste of skin) Bush) you really do feel like your are traveling to a foreign nation rather than our next door neighbor.

I hope Barak Obama can straighten this (and other BS) out so we can feel like North American again.

You can take toothpaste so long as it's under a certain size.

Someone should tell the screeners that.
