The press cotinues to tell us that Canada is the only country that still has people in Gitmo, and that makes me wonder, why is Canada so ready to give citisenship to terrorists? Why aren't we askong why Chretien wen't to Pakistan to save the father who wou'd die in the firefight? Chretien wasn't known for doing things for nothing so what did they get out of it?

I'm just trying to figure which bleeding hearts are supporting them. While I was a guest I've seen several members make inferences to Layton as being a taliban supporter which makes little sense to me for the simple reason their political agendas are the exact opposite. The NDP are noted for massive social programs. The taliban is not. When the taliban get together they don't discuss building hospitals, schools or social reform. The taliban stands for nothing but death. The very people they're supposed to advocate(Muslims)are in reality the people they hurt the most. The taliban offers its members nothing but death.Come to think of it that's what the taliban is all about...death.I just think anyone who stands up for them is a fool and if Layton is in fact their advocate he's committing political suicide.

Have you ever heard of neutrality? Some people choose that.

    News stations choose it.

LOL Suuuure they do. Please tell me any good news you hear from Iraq? Wait there is none coming from most news channels. Its all horror and death and destruction and more people dying then existing.

Afghanistan is no different. You never hear of our successes, or at least a majority of them, but you'd have a story of a soldier getting injured in the news for a week.
