LEDUC -- RCMP in Leduc are searching for a suspect who allegedly sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl at a playground Tuesday night. The incident, which happened about 7:45 p.m. near Corinthia Park School, was recorded on video camera by a witness.
"WDHIII" said Evidence is nice but holding the idiot in a headlock til the Police get there is even better
I'm not sure every woman is confident in their ability to keep a man in a headlock indefinitely - confronting him with the camera rolling scared him off - she took the girls with her and nobody got injured.
It was certainly the best thing she could have done.

True - guess I was just thinkin out loud as to what I would have done
A kick to the nads works too but yeah she probably took the best possible action considering...
Your just use to those Calgary girls, thats all.
Well I'm glad I found out before I left for the day, that the woman did walk over to him. I was going to be in a bit of a pissy mood thinking all this woman did was hide and roll the camera. But at the same time, it won't have taken much imagination to know what was about to happen and her vocal cords should have been in action.
But I still give her credit for doing what she did.
It's actually a great idea to make the person know they're being recorded, especially with all the camera phones these days. Even without a camera phone, you could hold any cell phone up like you're taking a photo and they wouldn't know the difference.
... of course there's the risk that they come after you for the camera/phone, but it's less risky than trying to physically confront them.
It's been reported by other media that this scumbag has a prior criminal record for such activity. That being the case, he should ( after a fair trial of course) be put to death. If anyone happens to disagree I would be most interested in what they may think is an appropriate punishment!
But you're right A_R, the still from the video was crisp and clear. Assuming they find his body, they will never be able to identify it.

Here, this is how I'd like to see him:
Suspect arrested...
H/T to whoever turned the scum in.
