Madam Justice Suzanne Tessier of the Quebec Superior Court ruled on Friday that the father couldn't discipline his daughter by barring her from the school trip.

    Some say it takes a village to raise a child. In this case it seems the village idiot is now doing the raising.

    Maybe Justice Tessier should take the child in to her home and find out how things work, rather than castrate the parental authority and walk away.

    I don't think this would have happened if the parents weren't seperated, the court should butt out though, a parent has the right to disipline their children.
