Harper just slashed our surplusses to nothing ahead of a recession. I'd put money on him putting us back into deficit spending. Harper could go down as the next Trudeau.

there are some comparisons between harper and trudeau . trudeau won a majority after joe clark brought in some plan to raise gas prices , dion wants to do something simialr . maybe it will lead to similar results.

well actually not that much in common between the 2 but harper has a good chance of being PM for a long time just like trudeau was .

as for the economy there is not one to single reason to say it would be any better if the liberals were in power instead , its just a reality the country has to deal with . is no cure all and opposition has no plan that would magically fix things .

Thats funny because when the very topic of economy is brought up at the provincial level you heap all blame for the auto sectors woes on McGuinty.

    Show some consistency.
