Funny, Harper trusts Bernier's biker girlfriend but no longer trusts Brenier.

    ROTFL

Appoint her to senate and get her into the caucas maybe?

    This is my favorite part
    Harper, May 26, 3PM:

I don't take this subject seriously.

    Harper, May 26, 7PM:

"It is a very serious mistake."

So, how stoned/drunk/stupid do you have to be to leave sensitive government documents at your former girlfriend-who-used-to-date-the-hell's-angels' place?

That's the big question 'round this morning's Conservative party Croissant-and-Crow breakfast meeting!

when he gets in front of the press you call it a photo op...make up your mind.

What was in this "important" document....the lunch menu for an upcoming meeting perhaps?..like usual the media is trying to blow something out of proportion with their "top secret documents" bit. Maybe it was a war plan to attack Greenland or something

I found the sensitive document info

A well-placed source said Mr. Bernier left his prep material for last months NATO summit in Romania in Ms. Couillards home.

The documents were a spokespersons briefing book and another document, the contents of which the source would not disclose. But the source said they did not contain any sensitive financial information.

They were not market sensitive; they were not anything that could move markets, said the source.

Shortly after the news conference, in an interview broadcast on the Quebec television station TVA, Ms. Couillard said the minister had left a government document at her Laval, Que., home during a routine visit in mid-April.

"And in what Yes, Minister-inspired parallel universe is it routine is it to drop by your exs place with a classified briefing book weeks after the meeting for which said book was supposed to prepare you?'

must of been real important stuff... that oughta keep the CBC and the RED STAR buzzing for a couple of days

"left secret briefing documents for a NATO summit"

They were not market sensitive; they were not anything that could move markets, said the source.

If they're NATO docs then maybe they could move missles.

I recall some Liberal MP leave a folder of secret doccuments in a French resteraunt years ago also. I don't think he resigned.

It was a dumb move but this was really just a fishing trip. Considering this immigration minister is under protection from biker gangs for not bringing in Romanian strippers like the last Liberal minister, you can wonder who has more ties with the bikers.
    Anyone remember strippergate?

She did not disclose what was in the document, but said it was addressed to Bernier and not to her, and it made her "very uncomfortable."

Do you think a menu for the next NATO summit made her uncomfortable? Apparently dating murderous bikers doesn't make her uncomfortable. I wonder how funny it would be if it was information on the arrival of some top NATO generals in a war zone...

You should be thanking the CBC and the Toronto Star for making this an issue...how long do you support an ass clown like Max - how much of our information and how many of our soldiers lives need to be put in danger before this joke becomes serious to you cons?

You guys are your own worst enemies, too bad it effects the rest of us too.
