His forearm tattoo brands him as a soldier-protector, but even a life-shaping eight-month tour of duty in Afghanistan left Tyler Patnode still a kid at heart, too trusting for his own good.

protect are men and especially the woman in a unified situation where they are not getting ripped off.... maybe this guy wanted to make a few bucks,, i dont know the situation, but.... the pay clerks on his base should of been notified of this situation.. perhaps its money that he spent on his own... i can only speculate........

well you have to protect yourself anywhere.. esp in locker rooms of Canadian Universitys where theft of wallets, purses and back packs are a common occurence.. my son lost his wallet (I use the term lost) from a locker...and yes it was locked with a comb lock at a university in hamilton.. he reported it and I insisted he call the police ..he did.. an audit of his health card showed he had treatment at a hospital in toronto 4x.. he was never in a hospital in toronto... he also had some credit cards racked but they were taken care of...

i agree working for the canadian armed forces is respectful, but if a soldier cannot maintain his or her debt... it becomes a problem.
