i read your artical,, its amazing,,,but i think the respect is there, i am unaware of political policy based on your war dead... is this a situation where peace should be absolved and that we should not pray on the strong, and especially wicked during war to promot society... im hoping that every war dead man or woman should get piecefull rights and that should be protected, but perhaps good drill and cerimonies should be respected for the dead.... not for the living.. to make such long history of bringing their pain... huh

if you are referring to war memorials.. then I agree they must be protected.. the tomb of the unknown soldier in Ottawa ..our nations Capital is being walked on ,slept on, sat on and pissed on by locals and tourists.. I have written to the government to have these monuments roped off so people cant climb on them or change their kids diapers on them or eat lunch on them.. respect of these monuments and for the people they represent is not too much to ask.. I was in a museum in St.Petersburg Russia ( formerly Leningrad) and was asked to remove my shoes. not to take pictures and be quiet.. I have whitnessed kids skate boarding on momuments in both Ottawa and Montreal.. its time to take action and stop the abuse and vandilism of these sacred places..
