Australia�An Australian swimmer says he survived a mauling from a 5-metre shark by wrestling with the beast, finally getting free by poking it in the eye.

    The guy's lucky, very lucky. Though people always give sharks less credit then they deserve. Shark related deaths are just so uncommon. A lot of divers spend time in shark infested waters and pat sharks. Even the dangerous ones. They don't attack humans much, unless they are desperatly hungry. Though everybody always makes them appear as monsters thats goal in life is to track down and kill all humans.
