The smell of pot was in the air as thousands assembled on the lawn of the Vancouver Art Gallery for a collective toke.

If this is the future, Canada is 40 years behind Holland...

bah, I wouldn't say that Ruez. I smoked a LOT of pot in college and high school...I mean a LOT, 420 was a national holiday for me...then I got a job for a mining company as a geologist the day I graduated, I quit the same day, haven't touched it since. I know I'm an oddity, but you can't lose faith, a lot of these kids will grow out of it just like many people do and become good productive members of society. Can't lose faith on our youth that easy

Holland had shit like this in the 60 and 70's.

And behind, yeah, with a couple of things, and imo, that is a good thing. PLEASE keep it that way. People are still polite here in Canada, especially if you compare it to Holland. "Hi, how are ya" is not something you hear a lot over there...

nah, I like it illegal, one of the main reasons I quit. I still think it's one of the best decisions I've taken in my life

the trade would still be around, busting grams and ounces is useless, I agree. It's the kgs and lbs that cause the stabbings/robberies.

You ever been in a grow op house? You ever see illegal handguns and sawed off shotguns firsthand? I did, it's a fucked up feeling, makes you want to quit then and there.

Those guns aren't there to kill cops either, only the wackos think like that, it's just for protection against other dealers

No shit,I remember my old man showing me that part of Amsterdam way back when ugly ducklings and mopeds without gas ruled the day and you had to go to the YMCA for a shower if you didnt have central heating.
