Squamish band members will likely protest at the 2010 Olympic Games despite the chief signing an agreement with the Vancouver Organizing Committee to support the event
"We have the highest rate of people incarcerated, the highest rate of children dropping out of schools, the highest rate of children in the child-care system and I could go on and on," Williams said.
No sh*t Sherlock, so smarten the hell up....
Williams was reacting to a warning in Ottawa yesterday from Phil Fontaine, Grand Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, that natives could protest at the 2010 Olympics to highlight their "desperate conditions."
Which only serves to highlight the corruption by despotic Indian leaders given the outrageous amount of money doled out to them to sort their "problems" out. 8 billion a year for 1.3 million Indians from Indian and Northern Affairs, do the math, and Health Canada will not release that specific information but over 2 million a year is spent on northern Manitoba. Yet we continue to fall for for it. Lets pay all 1.3 million of them a million bucks and call it a day. Millionaires all of them and they can sort their own sh*t out.
Williams said.
"I myself as an aboriginal male have the shortest lifespan."
God willing, once all the corrupt chiefs are gone, maybe the rest of this folks will have a chance.

you touch on the curse of the 'brown politician' the white institution with a Aboriginal face, our version of the American 'uncle tom' black guy who acts like a white guy.
A note, one of my professors worked for the department of Indian and Northern Affairs, it was ever so distressing to find out that the department that is supposed to look after the best intersts of the First Nations People was just another oppressive arm of an already overpoweringly oppressive government.
