HALIFAX - Three-and-a-half years after a fatal submarine fire, surviving crew members of HMCS Chicoutimi are falling ill with debilitating conditions - severe enough to force some of them out of the navy.

    my friend was the cook on that sub. Goes to show what happens when you buy your military equipment from other nations. Buld our own quipment. Canada has alot of very bright scientists and engineers.
    We are not a colony any more

    Actually, we should have had Electric Boat in Conn. build em for us.

    Screw building everything ourselves. Have the best built, by the best.

    My family has many engineers in it. Canada is very capable in design and building any thing we need.
