Turkish women will be able to wear Islamic head scarves at university following a vote by the country's parliament.

The no headscarf on campus law was instituted by the 1980 military hunta which took control the last time Turkey's political scene got murky.
Perhaps it's the weird world we live in but the military, usually the bad guys, are the good guys keeping the crazies in check.
Turkey's secular army will not tolerate drift towards a theocracy. IF the crazies expect mutinies, they do so at their peril.
