New Canadian presence North of Kandahar to bolster security

Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan - The Candian Forces is planning to build a new forward operating base in Arghandab, a strategic district North of Kandahar City that was the site of fierce fighting between coalition forces and the Taliban this fall.
