Rock pioneer Ike Turner dies in San Diego at 76

SAN DIEGO -- Ike Turner, whose role as one of rock's critical architects was overshadowed by his ogrelike image as the man who brutally abused former wife Tina Turner, died Wednesday at his home in suburban San Diego. He was 76.

It's too bad that Ike Turner never took responsibility
for his actions,particularly in regards to Tina Turner.

Ike Turner will only be remembered for being a
drug addicted wife beater.
