Yeah I was hearing that all day today. Especially since one of the people in my class is from Vanderhoof. She was getting calls all day making sure she was alright. Especially since she had a nasty accident at that very stretch of highway a few weeks ago.

I grew up in Vanderhoof so I'm very curious to hear who it was. Such a tragedy, it could be one family for all we know. Apperantly the snow plows and sand trucks weren't anywhere to be found at the time of the crash. So far they seem to be taking the winter off.
Lotsa snow here in Quesnel as well. They said it was going to warm up and we'd get freezing rain, but it looks as though it's going to stay about -16 tonight. No freezing rain, that's a good thing. I wouldn't be drivibng the highways tonight or tomorrow if you can avoid it, the roads were the shits all day today.
They just cranked up a warning here in eastern AB that we are going to get 20cm tonight or tomorrow morning. With the wind right now, it'll mean drifts looking to eat cars.
i cannot wait for this second storm to blow through!
or is that Tipper ?
