Opposition MPs are calling Prime Minister Stephen Harper a saboteur, an environmental criminal and an international pariah for his refusal to sign on to a hardline climate-change deal at the Commonwealth meeting in Africa.

When did the Green Party become an Opposition party?

Last I checked, you needed actual MPs in Parliment to qualify for that status.

Good to know that the Canadian Press is now making those calls for us peons.

Holy shit, Wullu, that has got to be the most egregious example of picking on a tiny detail, amking something of it that isn't even there, and ignoring the bulk of the story I have ever seen on this board. May's piece was the last, short paragraph of the story, and was an afterthought of sorts, and worded as such by the phrase "issues a statement of her own."

Dion's comment on "not leading" is hogwash. Leading is exactly what Harper did, rather than blindly follow the herd down a path that might bankrupt the country. In fact it states that "most" of the Commonwealth supported his deal. This again shows that along with not being much of a leader, Dion doesn't even know what entails being a leader.

The Liberals had over 12 years to do something and didn't, to quote Ignatieff "we didn't get it done". Their feigned outrage is purely political posturing, nothing more.

Here is hoping Dion comes to the realization that he should resign and that Justin Trudeau will take his place and get Harper out of there...Harper is just a clone of Bush and people are finally getting wise to that fact...

Hopefully the Shreiber investigations reveals Harper is guilty of a coverup just as much as Mulroney was too....

ROTFL Harper a clone of Bush? Dumbest comment of the day so far.

As for Trudeau, Canada won't survive another Trudeau, the first one almost ruined the country.

Lucienne Robillard, Minister of the Environment, prior to DION

"even if "the science" is all phony, what an excellant opportunity for justice and equality."

It should be not that the NDP has admitted to learning of Schieber"s letter/allegations months back and had filed them in file 3 (garbage) where they belong.

The LIBRANO purchase of $1,000,000,000 worth of Carbon Credits from Russia, makes me mad enough to spit. What an absolutely wicked waste of taxpayers money!

If the Liberals choose another Trudeau for leader, then they'll prove themselves dumb as the Americans who seem poised to go for a second Clinton after the second Bush....

It reminds me of the phrase, "Those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it!"

A statement that can be applied over and over again and the achilles heel of humanity.

The AGW crowd can be easily divided into two groups.

    1. Watermelons----green on the outside and red on the inside....

No, that's the narrow range of your responses to any post on the subject, because you've got nothing more substantial.

His body odour makes up in offensiveness what his posts lack in credibility and substance.
