The Canadian Forces has hired a former Afghan warlord to provide private security guards at one of Canada's remote forward operating bases deep in the heart of Taliban country.

    Funny, I am at the Bases they mentioned all the time, they are not big, I have only seen us and ANA guarding the camps, not sure where they get their information

    Why am I not surprised? I recall a long time ago and far far away "journalists" who filed unfavourable stories were kept under surveilance. They never left the bars and were feed their stories by "Charlie"....or they simply made them up.
